Health and physical requirements

Each participant is aware of the high physical load and confirms with the registration to meet the health and physical requirements to participate in the event. We strongly recommend to have a sports medical examination before participating in the event in order to exclude health risks due to the high physical load.

Registration

Registration takes place exclusively online in this ticket system.

Registration is possible from 31.01.2023 until 16.04.2023.

We reserve the right to reduce the number of participants and to cancel the registration of individual participants for this purpose, if this should be necessary for the implementation of the event due to official requirements. Cancellation will be made in reverse order of the date of registration.

Deposit for transponder and start number

At the check-in a deposit of 10€ has to be paid as security for the start number and the transponder. This amount will be refunded upon proper return. Please have the deposit ready if possible.

Payment

The payment of the start fee can only be done via direct debit, or our payment provider Stripe (credit card, Giropay). Bank transfers are not possible. Direct debit is only possible until 09.04.2023, the direct debits will be collected one week before the event.

Own cancellation, changes or cancellation of the event

Change/cancellation participant

If the participant is prevented from participating, there is no right to a refund of the entry fee.

Changes or cancellation of the organizer

The organizer is entitled to change or shorten the course and to change the starting field size and number of races in case of bad weather, construction sites, official orders or other unforeseen events. In case of an event of force majeure -in particular bad weather, major damage or pandemics- or official orders, the organizer is entitled to cancel or postpone the event. Also in this case there is no claim for refund of the entry fee.

Duties of the participant

The instructions of police and helpers have to be followed.

The legal regulations of the Federal Republic of Germany, the federal states of Saarland and the respective district valid on the day of the event and the hygiene concept of the event are to be observed by each participant during the entire event.

In case of violations against the mentioned duties we reserve the right to exclude the participant from the event for the following years.

Disclaimer

Each participant takes part in the event at his own risk, danger and account. Any liability of the organizer is excluded. The participant waives any recourse and legal claims against the organizer for material or physical damage caused by himself or others. An own liability and accident insurance is recommended. Furthermore, the liability of the organizer for a possible infection with respiratory diseases during the participation in the event is excluded.

Data protection/data processing/terms of participation

By registering, the participant declares to have read and accepted the conditions of participation and privacy policy. This is ensured in the registration form by two mandatory checkboxes. The participant thereby consents to the processing of data for the purposes stated below:

his personal and address data will be stored and processed by computer. The collected data can only be viewed by the organizer. It will not be passed on to third parties.

his personal and address data can be handed over to the police and regulatory authorities on request.

the organizer may take photos and video recordings of the participants and use them without any restrictions or time limits.
